Mother's Day Everyday!

Here's another picture filled entry about food! The whole family celebrated Mother's Day (two moms; my sis-in-law and mom) at Restaurant Lit Heong in Bandar Sri Bintang. We had eaten there before and enjoyed the food and decided to do dinner there again. They have a few specialty dishes and we ordered most of it that night.

We had arrived there about 7 and the customers were already streaming in fast and furious. It was a satisfying meal and by the time we left the place, every table was filled. There are several other restaurants along that block, all of them doing brisk business. We made our way home straight away as we had dessert waiting for us.

These are my growing nephews. On the right is O and left is E, they are both a lot taller than I am (it doesn't help with me being short, so they end up looking really tall when I'm next to them! ha ha...) We managed to rescue the Mango Delight cake which I got from Fruity before O could do any harm to it!

The cake was so nice and though we were full from dinner, the family still had huge slices of it as it was light and fluffy. The cake had layers of mango cubes in between which was mixed with vanilla cream!!!! Yum! Yum! They even have a Durian Delight version which is not available at the moment as it is seasonal (Mango Delight is seasonal too). I have added some pics to the Fruity blog. Check it out.

So, there goes another year of Mother's Day celebration. Happy Mother's Day! Everyday should be a happy day for all moms!
