Stay Tuned ...

Had an enjoyable dinner after meeting, chatting with VJ and JC1. Gosh, we were probably the last ones to leave Clear, a new drinking place in Plaza Mont Kiara. They serve delicious appetizers, pizzas and pasta. We had lamb strips, honey glazed sausages, calamari, chicken wings and a pizza. While munching on the spread, the three of us told our repetoire of jokes and antidotes for life, we had a good laugh. We went down memory lane, recalling shows like M.A.S.H and All in The Family. Just so happens I have these two books, Stay Tuned and Now Showing (both by Joe Garner), that I think VJ would be interesting in borrowing.

By the time I got home, it was already 1.30am. We spoke a lot, and one of the things agreed was if a friendship means/meant a lot to you, we should cherish it or try our best to fix it when things go wrong, as it is worthwhile to do so. There are some where you don't fix it but move on to a new one too! Ha ha ha Well, it's good to continue trying as long as one is not affected by the loss. Instead of having negative feelings, lamenting the loss of friendship while trying, it's much better to be positive, to have hopes of one day that things will work out. Otherwise, if dwelling too much on the sadness, we might affect our lives in other areas in a negative way too.

Well, I'm gonna sleep now but to end my pleasant day as night appears (it's already another day!), here's Daniel! Mrs Pitt, this one is for you! Take some time off to relax!

  1. I love that phrase: Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.

I'm in a long distance relationship. I'm in Aust, he's in Russia. But whenever we laugh together on the phone, he only seems to be minutes away.

  3. It's very true. But you know what is the sad part? When you have to hang up! But it only makes the next phone conversation so much more sweeter! ;p
