Kafe Perfect Nutrition, Cheras

In the past week, I have had two extremely "enriching" meals, both a first for me; hairy crabs and kobe beef (I'll blog on those shortly). Sitting down at the computer, I thought about this cafe in Cheras (it's near Leisure Mall, same row as the Celcom shop) which MC took me to for a nutritious meal a while back. I think after my recent meals, I could use some of the food from this place where I could also detox! I was told that the cafe owner is a Herbalife distributor. A good idea as they can also market their products at the same time I suppose.

I left the ordering to MC and soon enough I was served with a glass of Aloe Lemon Drink, of which I was told to finish up first. After that a Shake Mix that was a blend of banana and powder was served. The Aloe Lemon Drink tasted refreshing but the shake mix took me a while to finish as it was thick. Later, I found out what the drinks were for.
Drinks

Healthy Soup
Next I was served with soup. Bearing in mind no salt is added to it, there was a slight hint of salt from the seaweed and a light fragrance from the tomato. Yup, it's as healthy as it can be.
Healthy Rice
Next up was my rice. Brown rice with wolfberries which I liked! I found myself enjoying the fragrant but bland rice (still no salt added); eaten together with sweet potatoes, baby tomatoes, spinach and lightly pickled cucumber and pineapple. All natural flavours.

If you're looking for a flavourful meal, then this isn't the place for you. BUT if you're looking for a healthy and nutritious meal, then you should go to this place. I left the place feeling healthy but still stuck to the notion that healthy food just isn't fun. It's usually that way....What's good for you usually isn't even half as much fun as compared to what's BADDDddddd! LOL! What do you think? I shall seek the answer, find a healthy and nutritious food that tasty!

  1. It's a good idea for visiting this restaurant for health food and also when we want to eat something lighter in taste. Thanks for introducing this place, will check it out soon!

  3. I'm still trying to figure a way to make flavourful food and healthy food one and the same...

I like the dishes they serve here, but I'm sure they can spice it up a little... spices are flavourful but not unhealthy what... wasn't there an article about tumeric (kunyit) being anti-cancer or something?

Of course, never trust a guy who consumes 1-2 bowls of plain oatmeal each day... (It actually tastes good, okay!)

    :P

  5. Hahaha... I so agree with you. Good food is usually bad for your health and healthy food is usually bad for your tastebuds! Think I still prefer the burger in your last post. ;p

Cynthia : Hahahaha....Now if only vegetables tasted like bacon!!!

Kenny M : Plain oatmeal? Plain??? *faints*

nic : Mmmmm....what would be the best tasting "good for your health" food?

barbie : Hahaha...Why is that so? Why? I shall seek the answer ;o).

yammylicious : Ah, good for your health...

  13. It was indeed an indulgence week for us. But to eat this 'healty' i don't think i can do it. But to me, if I want healty food, I would just go for plain white porridge with stir fry green veggies.

  20. I asked about how the business is.

  21. Business? I think it a niche market. I know people are more aware of their health but whether they take steps to ensure they are in good health is another matter though :o)
