The beef noodle stall in front of the pork noodle stall (both stalls also have other noodle varieties).
A very beefy looking beef noodles indeed. The broth was nice, almost herbal like. The mixed beef (meat and tripe) was pretty normal while the kway teow was standard. I still prefer the meat cuts from Julian's stall in Section 17. For those who prefer a heavier taste, one might like this, for a lighter version one would go to Section 17's. The beef noodles here is cheaper though, RM4.50.

I have never tried the brown soup version but it looks good though. Worth a try. As for the pork noodles...we vowed never to go back. Bad attitude and LONG waiting time.
wow..the soup does look very "kao" but i see all the ss3,4,5,6 then i can get confused liao..just like the other time, when i was lost in ss2...sigh..

That's really beefy! :P
i personally enjoy the heavier tasting broth...brings out the beef flavour in it...nice...the bowl of beef noodles look complete (with essential ingredients), btw :)
i know this place !!
we called the pork noodle store the 45-min wait store... that is usually how long we need to wait during lunch time for our noodle ~ :p
Mmmmm..I want beef noodle now...it look so delicious..i hope it's not added too much of MSG.
I miss the beef ball steamboat too. Your previous post of woo kok made me crave so much that I looked up the recipe. Too bad, I can't find mung bean flour (tang mein fen) here. *Sigh* Can only look at your woo kok and not eat.
wmw,
Like Joe mentioned, the soup sure looks real KAO! Must be yummy hor? ;)
Beefy and flavourful.

Precious P : Luckily didn't order the pork noodles then :o)

yammylicious : I've eaten the one in Cheow Yang many years ago, can't remember. Maybe should go there again.
Jason : It's really looks that way hor? :o)
nic : Then you've found a place...Pop by here over the weekend, but go early, not during lunch hour. Else have to wait...
ling239: Wah...I might wait but since Precious P say they have an attitude problem I don't think I would want to order from them.
ekeng : Eh...can't remember about the MSG part. :o) You try and let me know?
Wonda : Come back to Malaysia for a vacation? I bring you there???
kok : It is nice...but I prefer a slightly lighter version given a choice.
cynthia : Hello there! Yes, and there are a few types of beef noodles, in terms of style.
BBO : Gorgeous but no problems about being too sayang to eat it! Heehehe.....
Taiwan is supposed to be Beef Noodle capital but somehow I still prefer those beef noodles I can get in S'pore/Malaysia!

Christine : It's different from the Seremban one...I miss the Seremban one too! :o)
Team bsg : Hahaha...No teasing, your post, more teasing. Sometimes tell people about the good food and no address, don't know where to find! LOL!
jun : Does that mean I should get you to go with me? :p Anyway, yes, have read about that one but have not been there...yet.
The pork noodle is quite famous here. I just went lately. It was quite disappointing. Soup was all peppery. Quite bad la...
