Desserts @ Bread Basket Bakery, Kota Kemuning

Continuation from previous post....

As I mentioned previously, the gang weren't satisfied with lunch as we had earlier planned to have a day trip to Seremban but ended up in Kota Kemuning instead. Hahaha....

Pout
Tiger said as she pouts : I didn't get to eat beef balls and I'm not satisfied!!!

The sun was out in full force that day and we decided to skip coffee and look for a place to have desserts instead. After rounding the area, we decided to venture into this place after finding out that quite a number of eateries weren't open on Sundays here and this one was!

Went we entered the place, we were informed that the kitchen was closed and only drinks and desserts were available which was fine with us. After scrutinizing the menu, we ordered some classic desserts ...

Banana Split
Banana Split (RM5) - This was once my favourite order when I was a kid whenever I went to KFC (known as Kentucky Fried Chicken back then). Yes, it must be served in the glass bowl for it to be considered an authentic Banana Split. Hahaha....

ABC Ice Kacang
I went for the Ice Kacang (RM4.50) instead - a rather big bowl with generous ingredients. It was not overly sweet but sweet enough and had a hint of syrup from the canned fruits which made it even nicer. Of course, it had the usual grass jelly, corn and red beans too.

Overall, we enjoyed the desserts - can't really go wrong with these classics. This Chinese bakery cafe had some interesting looking food but I guess that will have to wait till we swing by this way again. They also operate "Friends" on the 1st Floor which serves Chinese cuisine. Mmmm....plenty of eateries to explore in Kota Kemuning. We'll be back!

  1. Ice kachang is a great dessert. Please give me all the ingredients but importantly cendol ( nice, soft, not frozen!), a bit mushy red beans. I'll be looking out for them before digging in!!

  9. Love banana boat ice-cream at all time. Sometimes I just don't understand why with the existence of the bananas, the ice-cream would be more delicious!
