Friday's Quick Bites - Chef Loong SS2 Petaling Jaya



Thought of doing a short feature today - hence "Friday's Quick Bites" ;o)

Yellow Sponge Cake
Steaming hot Yellow Sponge Cake with custard in between, one of my fave orders. Absolutely delightful!

P.S. As for the watermark on the photo itself - I had encounters where my photos were taken without my knowledge and of course approval, watermark blog address (which I normally place at the corners) cropped out and used for commercial purpose. So, have decided to put it right across my photos now. Sigh...

  4. i ate similar stuff at Maju Palace but it was known as thousand layer cake. been trying to look for the recipe but still couldn't. maybe need to ask my non-banana frens to help google :p

  9. Precious Pea : Too bad about your experience, I went a couple of weeks back and it was so nice!

    J2Kfm : This is listed as Yellow Sponge Cake, so definitely Yellow colour :o). Yes, like Ma Lai Kou but this has custard in between.

    SimpleGirl : Now, Chef Loong serves a range of dim sum but this is one of my fave orders! Must order in fact!

    Babe_KL : Yes, it's exactly like the Thousand Layer Cake...haha, I will just go to Chef Loong for it since it's a stone's throw away from my home. All the best!
