Of course, once I'm back in Malaysia, there'll be posts on Malaysian food as usual! So, what's the first thing I wanna eat when I get back? I'm torn between two loves, Nasi Lemak and Char Kway Teow! Hahaha....So, if you're away from home (where ever your country is) what is the first thing you crave for?
I've definitely left my heart in San Francisco (a beautiful city) and left with sadness. Most importantly I left my sis, Mrs Pitt, back there. Well, hopefully she can make a trip to Malaysia soon. Oops! That means that I'll have to clean up my home ... MAJOR spring cleaning! :p
Mrs Pitt & Mr Pitt, thanks for everything!
Zahara, continue to fill me with your high school adventures and thanks for being our tour guide during your school break.
Holymookie and Mr Holymookie thanks for the hospitality.
Melina & Cindy & Geri & Vilma, thanks for the food &
Ruina, thanks for the books!
Mom & I had a wonderful time, thanks again!
It's bittersweet for me...cos I'm leaving but I'm heading back home. Pray for safe journey & see you all soon!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!
(while I recover from jet lag!)
(while I recover from jet lag!)
Welcome back to Malaysia, wmw! (hopefully you're back when you read this)
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I rarely crave for Malaysian dishes when I am abroad nor do I crave for foreign dishes when I return home. I guess I just enjoy whatever is fresh, local and good. :)
But for the simple nasi lemak vs. char kway teow debate, I prefer CKT anytime with one exception: I must have my Village Park nasi lemak every weekend that I happen to be in the Klang Valley... it's so good! (Haha, I guess I have my cravings after all...)
Welcome home WMW!
ReplyDeleteSaying goodbye is hard isn't it? Did you flood the airport? hehehe Treasure those wonderful moments.
I must have the nasi lemak each time I return home from visiting a foreign country. Strange?! Don't why the craving. Perhaps it's different with ladies as compared to guys. Agree Kenny? ;)
Banana Leaf Rice! That's what I wallop after a week in Perth.
ReplyDeleteC ya!
Safe flight! Welcome home ;)
ReplyDeleteI know how you gonna feel for the next couple of days. Cheer up and how i wish i could go nasi-lemak-ing with you. Have a pleasant flight home!
