(NON-HALAL)
It's a good place to bring your foreign friends to when they visit you as it's really like a one-stop center for famous food fare. Just make sure you come here famished in preparation of all the various foods you would want to try ... believe me, it's a rather difficult task to choose with the sight and smell of food permeating the air. Several stalls were either closed or no longer in business when I went there last. I wonder if any have closed since then. I must say, my first trip (I've been here several times) to Lot 10 Hutong was lovely not only as it was my first time eating there but because I met up with Ilene too :o). Where to next Ilene? Come on, Ilene ...
A set consisting of a bowl of "Oil" Rice, Pork Ribs and a cup of Chinese Tea (RM16.20). Ilene said that it didn't pass her taste test. I read elsewhere that some bloggers enjoyed it though. Taste is subjective!
A bowl of dry flat noodles (hor fun) and a bowl of pork meat balls and roast stuffed pork intestine (RM8.90). I found this quite tasty as the noodles were flavourful indeed with the black sauce and lard oil.
A plate of charcoal fried Hokkien Noodles (RM8.90) from Kim Lian Kee ... full of wok hei goodness. This family business has been passed down four generations!
Snowy Mango Dessert from Ice Room, I think it was RM8.90 too, not sure - both Ilene and I enjoyed it; a great refreshing dessert!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful company! After that night and till to-date, I think I only went back twice. Too pricey for hawker stuff!

Haven't been to there yet. Maybe one day if I found myself near Lot 10 and is hungry, I'll go there.
ReplyDeleteFood over there more expensive that their original shop, I think I rather go to the original shop :P

Simon Seow : Yes, go there hungry, very hungry!
choi yen : Yah, of course pricier. Matter of convenience as the stalls are all under one roof.
