So off I went and once again, without fail ... the experience was a wonderful treat, both pleasing to the eyes and palate. I might not be able to let you taste the food through this blog post but it's my pleasure to treat you to the sight of the food that will be specially prepared for this Spring celebration at Starhill Gallery starting from 1 April - 31 May 2011. Appetiser - Udang Bakar & Rojak, grilled prawns with a spicy tomato relish complemented by a tropical fruit salad in a tart "rojak" sauce.
Main Course - Ayam Terong Pipit Kari, chicken served with sauteed potato wedges, wild aubergine, fried cherry tomatoes and shallots complemented with a richly flavoured curry sauce.
Along with the main course, there's also Siakap Lemak Sayur, pan fired seabass served with "kailan, sweet 'pok choy" and yam, all sauteed with fresh garlic complemented with a golden creamy sauce.
Dessert - Kuih Lapis Beri, the traditional layer cake served with a layer of cream and mango with a mixed berry sauce and wafer stick
