Doi Chaang Coffee @ Jaya One, Petaling Jaya

Here's a quick post...I just got back from Doi Chaang @ Jaya One and decided to do a short post on it.  With operating hours daily (close on Sundays) from 9am-7pm (yes, extended by another hour!), the few of us made it a point to arrive at this place right after work in time to try out their coffee before it closes on us yet again.  Hahaha...we had wandered to Doi Chaang on a Sunday previously and was deprived of our coffee since it's close on Sundays!

Doi Chaang (which means Elephant Hill) serves up coffee with beans originating from the Chiang Rai province of Northern Thailand.  Three of us tried the Ice Doi Chaang while Y went for a Latte. Having tried Y's Latte, I must say the Ice Doi Chaang fared better in terms of after taste and aroma.  Not just better, it was a GREAT ice coffee I would say; done with a double shot of espresso! The Latte was somewhat lighter but would appease those who prefer hot coffee.

Well, we plan to return to try out the other varieties ... next at Doi Chaang ... Peaberry! Stay tuned!
