Little Paris on Stockton, San Francisco

Now I would like to share with you folks one of the food that I usually eat whenever I'm in San Francisco. I always make it a point to drop by Little Paris to get my BBQ Beef Sandwich.

Little Paris on Stockton

The ready packed meals
They actually sell all assortments of Vietnamese food - all ready packed. This eatery is rather small and only has a few tables for patron and does more take out orders. One of my fave pickup is the fried spring rolls with the rice noodles.

My fave Vietnamese Ham in the foil
One of the other food item I usually get here is the Vietnamese Ham (seen wrapped in aluminium foil). I will usually add it into my salads and noodles whenever I eat in. Also extremely good in preparing fried rice!

BBQ Beef Sandwich
Oh, and the main reason for dropping by at Little Paris time and time again? This wonderful BBQ Beef Sandwich (USD3.50). BBQ Pork is also available for those who prefer the "other" white meat! Hahaha...Anyway, what makes this sandwich taste so good is actually a mixture of all the different ingredients. Sliced BBQ Beef on a French loaf with pickled julienned radish, carrots and some raw onions and parsley. I guess the main factor would be the pickled vegetables. It's done spot on, not too sour and still with the "crunch" factor, making this a hit!

NKOTB : Yup, some are meant to be eaten cold, for everything else, microwave ;o)

Ilene : Well, must be the French influence in Vietnam. Globalized indeed.

SimpleGirl : Yes, Viet sandwiches in KL please!

Jason : Actually, Stockton is located in Chinatown.

Cumi & Ciki : Thanks...Me salivate looking at the pic too. Hahaha...

Tummythoz : You can try Viet Ham in Vietnam Kitchen. They have it. I usually go for the noodles with slices of Viet Ham, pretty much like spam but less salty and more solid.

Little Paris really is the best. I am from the area and eat there every chance I get. I love their basic, mixed meat sandwich. SO good. Thanks for shining a spotlight on a San Francisco favorite!

How have I lived in SF for the last 4 years and never knew about this shop? I LOVE Vietnamese beef sandwiches and used to get them all the time at this cafe in San Jose. I have to check this place out!
