Friday's Quick Bites - Chef Loong SS2 Petaling Jaya

Thought of doing a short feature today - hence "Friday's Quick Bites" ;o)

Yellow Sponge Cake
Steaming hot Yellow Sponge Cake with custard in between, one of my fave orders. Absolutely delightful!

Chef Loong Restaurant
86 Jalan SS2/60
47300 Petaling Jaya
Tel : 03-7877 4826
Opens for lunch and dinner
(Close on Mondays)

P.S. As for the watermark on the photo itself - I had encounters where my photos were taken without my knowledge and of course approval, watermark blog address (which I normally place at the corners) cropped out and used for commercial purpose. So, have decided to put it right across my photos now. Sigh...

Yummy...love Chef Loong's 'malaigou' but the last time i went, it was soggy moist. But yours look fluffy though.

Precious Pea : Too bad about your experience, I went a couple of weeks back and it was so nice!

J2Kfm : This is listed as Yellow Sponge Cake, so definitely Yellow colour :o). Yes, like Ma Lai Kou but this has custard in between.

SimpleGirl : Now, Chef Loong serves a range of dim sum but this is one of my fave orders! Must order in fact!

Babe_KL : Yes, it's exactly like the Thousand Layer Cake...haha, I will just go to Chef Loong for it since it's a stone's throw away from my home. All the best!

SC : Sigh..why hor?

Cumi & Ciki : It is....ahhh...you got me thinking about it again! Hahaha....

thenomadGourmand : Come lah....I'll go with you again! ;o)

BSG : Yes, K.I.S.S...Keep It Short & Sweet

Sugar Bean : Yah, it is...it's lovely, especially when it fresh steaming hot!
