FHM 2007-Culinaire Malaysia 2007 Pt. 1

In conjunction with the Merdeka post, here is another Malaysian event. I was fortunate enough to drop by KLCC Convention Centre last Thursday for FHM (Food&Hotel Malaysia) 2007 as I have not been to one before. Held every 2 years, FHM 2007 (22 August - 25 August) showcased food/drinks, service equipment, supplies and related technology etc. All three levels of the hall were filled with over 600 international and local exhibitors and it was definitely a nicer experience for me (as compared to going to the same place for PC Fair! Hahaha...). Of course, there were lots of drinks and food sampling, I guess this is why the show is not open to the public but only to those from the food industry. I could have spent the whole day here as there were so many things to see and food/drinks to taste. Anyway, here are the photos (mainly food shots!)...

I was like in dessert heaven! I could almost hear the angels sing! If I was lost and in a desert, I would want to have a mirage like this! LOL....

Chocolates! Chocolates! Chocolates!

"Heinz" is THE word for the food sample here!

The sample hot doggie dog that was part of my lunch!

The gelato ice cream was nice and smooth, not too sweet either! :o)

All these under one roof??? Wait, there's more! Not forgetting the culinary competition; to be continued...

Wa ha ha, you are there too.
I visit FHM 2007 on Friday afternoon, about 2 hours just able to have a quick look on Culinaire Malaysia.
Then I make a personal trip again the next day, using my "working permit" and i almost spend half a day there. ha ha~
Anyway, I regret for not able to attend everyday as the competition are very from day to day.
Saturday's exhibition not that interesting, some stores already close shop. And, i dun have the chance to try the Gelato Ice Cream!
I would like to learn the way you take those photos, looks great. My one very "flat".

Wow! Totally glorious man... haha. I really like the cupcake with the decoration that makes it look like the lion from the lion dances. And whats that bun with the stick inside that looks like an ice-cream?! I'm so curious. Haha.

meiyen & Jason : It was really a magical feeling. Some sort of a foodlie Disneyland. Ha ha ha...

kok : Cheh...thought you singing that song to me, but it's to the food! LOL...

joe : I was actually working "part time" for someone who is a restaurateur, so I went in legally per se!

NKOTB : There were a few exhibits that didn't allow us to take photos but most did. A lot of us went in with cameras. It was great be able to take photos.

Judy : Nah, here's a tissue... :o)

tigerfish : Yah, it does look like a lion head from the lion dance. I like the green colour, hence I chose that as compared to the rest.

Jackson : Non stop food sampling and you still say NOT FAIR??? I definitely didn't have any non stop food sampling leh...

firehorse : Haha...anything to be in my shoes??? Mmmm....let me think. LOL
