Here's To Many More!

This is a post for Sat, 20th May, where the group of us celebrated JC1's birthday. I only got the pics today. We started off with dinner at Lit Heong (again, hee hee, I think it will be awhile before I go back there again!). We then ended up at Chef Ken's in Kepong for drinks and cake.

Eh, birthday celebration or agency meeting???

Well, the food and the drinks were good but of course the outing was better. It's a good change that we gathered together for something else apart from agency meetings! All work and no play makes me sleepy...hee hee. Not being restricted by time and to the confines of a meeting room, we had time to chat and got to know/understand each other better. Even though going on trips together, we normally don't get the chance to sit down and talk. You know, the hectic schedule of tours, wake up early, gulp down breakfast, run to the bus, sightseeing, shopping, lunch, ushered back to bus, more sightseeing, more shopping, dinner, ushered back to bus and then back to hotel. However, the girls normally gather in a room for girls' talk when we can. So, such outings like the one on Saturday was a refreshing change. Here's to many more, birthdays and all!

What A Weekend!

Wow! What a filled weekend. E, I'm so sorry that we didn't get a chance to meet up when you came down to KL. Hopefully, there will be a next time. On Saturday, I had karaoke lunch in Subang. Then visited a client friend in Bukit Jelutong. Then dinner in Kepong! I got home at 1am, checked my emails and slept at 2.30 and woke up at 8. Don't be worried that I've gone nuts or something like that (to wake up that early after such a long day). Just that I went back to Kepong this morning at 9am to see a client! I then rushed off for the 11am church service and had lunch with JC1 and SD. Mmm....SD brought us to this new place for Pan Mee (flour noodles or "mee kayu", hee hee). Rather interesting, they have the normal Pan Mee and they also have Spinach or Carrot Pan Mee! They serve it in several ways; dry, soup, curry, loh, sizzling! They have other noodles too like Yee Mee for those who want to try something apart from mee kayu!

Anyway, I went home after that and went on the net again. An hour later, I went to take a nap and woke up at 6.15pm. KCC had planned to meet up with me with her mom for dinner. I brought my mom along too and we ended up eating dinner at Dragon-I, 1Utama. We tried the Shanghai Siew Loong Pau (little translucent flour skin steam pork dumpling with a bit of soup inside) but the ones at Chef Loong (SS2) are the best!

They were having a Cuti-cuti Malaysia Travel Fair at the Concourse area at the New Wing and I decided to take a look. Ended up putting down a RM50 deposit to secure a package to Langkawi, valid till May 2007. Oooh! I better start planning for Mrs Pitt and Zahara's mini getaway(s) when they come over here sometime in July.

Well, I am actually finishing up this entry at about 2am on Monday. I'm waking up early again to see a client at 10am. Wow! It's been hectic...but you know what? It's great, it's living!

Premier Club 2006 - Espana

Took a pic with Alan Boy (management) here but decided to crop myself out of the shot for the fact that I could look better. Ha Ha.... Then I went round taking shots of some of the colorful people I came across. I was told that the costumes for this theme were all rented out and no longer available in the Klang Valley for tonight and some had actually tailor made them! Wow!

You see, the theme will usually be what ever country that has been chosen for our Premier Club trips. Premier Club 2005 theme was Japan, and there were lots of "Japanese" strutting around the ballroom last year.

And what or who am I suppose to be? I of course, am a Chinese Spanish! Ha ha.... Yay! I'm going off to Tokyo in about a week's time! I wonder where will we be going in 2008? I sure hope to make it for 2007's trip to Spain!

Most Unusual

Last day for submission of cases before the bonus offer ends. Had earlier met T, my dvd seller to collect his cheque for investment. He had to wait for his daughter to come back to get her signature and ended up only meeting me pass midnight yesterday! JC and I were at Kayu Nasi Kandar having teh tarik while waiting for him. Did you know that Kayu Nasi Kandar has an outlet in Australia and plan to open more??? Check out the prices in their takeaway menu (click for a larger image) It's available for download on their website!!!! Roti Canai costs $3! Whoa! That's in Aussie dollars!

Anyway, I told JC that this is another first for me. In the past, it was a first for an unusual place to be processing a case. I visited my client in JB who was renting a place and I thumbprinted him on the bed! Before you all go WHOA!!!!!!!, NOTHING happened, we both sat on the bed, a stool in front of us for me to put my forms on and I thumbprinted him. "ON" THE BED, NOT "IN" BED, OKAY?????!!!!! THE END. He practically lived in his room, he watched TV in his room and had a little corner to cook in the room too! He had no table! Ha ha.... I've known him for 2 years then and anyway, JC was also there with me. Well, last night was the first I have ever encountered in meeting with a client past midnight at the mamak stall! The latest or shall I say, earliest appointment in my entire 9 years of doing this.

TD dropped by my place today and we went off to meet JC for lunch and had a discussion about our meeting agenda. TD wanted to talk about life and death preparations because of what I have learnt from Jen. JC said that not all are receptive about such things, which we agreed, and it was back to the drawing board for us. Now what topic shall we touch on? Mmmm.... How about "The Most Unusual Experience You Have Had With A Client?" LOL ......
