A List of My Favourite Things (Food!) - Part One

Meant to post this up for year end but didn't get round to finishing it. As far as food is concern, I'm sure we have our own favourite haunts. As taste is rather subjective, my favourites might not be the same as yours and vice versa. However, I decided to do a posting of my favourite simple fare or street food and snacks of the places that I drop by time and time again in Klang Valley over the years or decades even. Some of these are from rather recent posts and some from several years back. I will definitely continue going to these places in 2010 :o)

Favourite Places For Chee Cheong Fun (3 spots since I love CCF!)

Bee Connection, Low Yat Plaza, Kuala Lumpur

Ah Keong Chee Cheong Fun

Favourite Place For Soup Pan Mee

Smooth Pan Mee

If you come here between morning and noon, check out the nasi lemak which is pretty good too!

Favourite Place For Chilli Pan Mee

Kin Kin Chili Pan Mee
Kin Kin, off Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur

Favourite Place For Char Siew (BBQ Pork)

Char Siew - BBQ Meat
Famous Seremban Favourites, Sunway Mas, Petaling Jaya

I-Po Roast Duck, Bayu Perdana 1, Klang

Kam Fatt Curry Noodles

Here's some of the food and places sung to the tune of "My Favourite Things"....

Tasty Chee Cheong Fun
Some plain, some with fillings
Grilled Chicken Wings
That are best with some chilli
Char Siew that melts in my mouth, makes me sing
These are a few of my favourite things ... (well, food actually but that won't rhyme with "sing", hahaha...)

When I crave for...Soupy Pan Mee,
I know where to go
Heng Kee's Hokkien noodles
Kam Fatt's Curry mee
For Roast Duck...
it is .... I-Po!

To Be Continued ...

you should think to compile the photoeats into a small book guide and publish it for some side eating income plus a little fame! Sommore you are an authentic genuine Kelang Valley street-food connoisseur & none will dare to dispute your treasured list !

Hazza : More to add to your list :o)

BSG : No ah, taste is very subjective. People can dispute with me, each its own!
