Charismatic Canada! Part Five - Ottawa

This time, we drove off from Toronto and headed towards Ottawa.  Have I mentioned that Canada is a lovely place? Hahaha...Here are some pics of Ottawa, enjoy!  Have a great week :o)

Marriott Hotel
I fell in love immediately with the Marriott Hotel ... count them, count all 7 of my pillows and bolster.

Coffee! Marriott Hotel
and of course...the coffee machine in the room.  All hotels that I went to in Canada have a coffee machine in the room.  God bless them!

View from Marriott Hotel
Here's the view from my room.  My! What clean windows they have

Post Box
Didn't I say Canada is lovely? Even their post box is so lovely!

Terry Fox
Finally, after participating in all those Terry Fox Run ... came across the Terry Fox statue designed by John Hooper.  It's located across from the Parliament Buildings at Wellington Street

Parliament Buildings
Parliament Buildings @ Parliament Hill ... more on it later

Fairmont Chateau Laurier
Nearby, here's the Fairmont Chateau Laurier.  This castle like hotel has been around for almost a century and is one of the attractions in Ottawa

Fairmont Chateau Laurier
A reflection of Fairmont Chateau Laurier.  They REALLY do have clean windows!

The famous Rideau Canal.  When winter arrives, this canal becomes the world's largest skating rink - 7.8 kilometres long Rideau Canal Skateway.  How cool is that?!

To Be Continued...

The canal looks lovely. Must be wonderful to walk along it. The air looks really fresh too.

Yeah, when hubs was in Montreal, his hotel room was stocked with Stabaks coffee and machine. :)
